Winds of Change are Blowing

The more things change, the more things stay the same.

Hmmm…. That’s an annoying cliche.

How about, when one door closes, another one opens.

I don’t really like that one either. But things become cliches because there’s truth in them.

The reality is, sometimes it’s just time to move on. And right now, we’re finding that it’s time to move on from … well … from this. This blog has moved a lot of eyeballs to our forums over the years. It has been fun to write, and fun to follow the discussions generated by these posts. But as the new forum is ramping up, the old forum is generating a lot less discussion. We are still on the old forum, and for the classes that haven’t migrated to the new site, this is still the place to ask specific questions about your classes. But for HTRYN, and for general writing discussion, logging in at Holly’s Writing Classes is the best way to get connected.

This blog won’t be making the transition to the new site, so we’re winding it down. But if you need any assistance from the mods, we are still available to help you in whatever way we can. Message us on either Holly’s Writing Classes, or here on How to Think Sideways and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. checklist-41335_640

Also, if you haven’t yet filled out the survey on the new site, please take a few minutes to answer a few short questions about what you want from Holly. Help her build a site that will meet your writing needs.

Thanks for sticking with us, and we will see you on the forums!

Amy, Cat, Kirsten, and all the mods.
