Manuscript Markup

Starting your first major revision is kind-of a big deal. sw_Editing_N10_20130809_230442

It can also be a little scary taking that red marker to a clean white manuscript. Every writer’s fear is that when they’re done, their story will look like it’s hemorrhaging. So it can be pretty exciting to get through the first chapter and discover, hey, I like everything I wrote here. :)

One first-time-revisionist was wondering though, if she should really mark parts that she particularly likes as Holly suggests. Why get ink on a perfectly good section of manuscript?

Members of HTRYN should login and see the answers she received, and perhaps share some story-revising stories of their own!
